Home Ownership Matters
Here are just a few of the reasons
|
To People, To Communities, To Ontario
A recent poll released by the Ontario Real Estate Association(OREA) indicates 70% of renters would like to buy a home at some point in the future. Over 50% of those polled indicated affordability was the key reason for holding back. The Poll also revealed that 81% felt that home ownership is more difficult than it was for their parents and 89% felt it was only going to become more difficult in the future. "Today's poll is compelling evidence that a majority of Ontarians are concerned about the affordability of home ownership for themselves and future generations," said John Wright, Senior Vice President of Ipsos Reid.

Kathy,
That is a very important statistic. Home ownership makes sense for both financial and personal reasons.
